Ross Pearson Injured: Misses UFC London

British lightweight MMA fighter Ross Pearson has withdrawn from his bout with Melvin Guillard at UFC Fight Night 37 in London on the 8th of March. He has been replaced by Michael Johnson.

Ross Pearson, one time coach on 'TUF The Smashes', has had to withdraw from his rematch with Melvin Guillard at the O2 Arena in London with a torn meniscus. Pearson, the highest profile British name on the card, will be replaced by Guillard's one-time Blackzillians training partner, Michael Johnson.

A winner of TUF 12 under Georges St-Pierre, Michael Johnson is coming off impressive back-to-back victories over Joe Lauzon and Gleison Tibau. A third decisive win over Guillard has the potential to propel him into the title picture of the UFC's stacked lightweight division.
