Zaha to join Cardiff City on Loan

Manchester United outcast Wilfried Zaha is tonight completing a medical ahead of a loan move to beleaguered Cardiff City, as the Welsh club bid to fight off relegation.

After six months in the footballing wilderness, gifted young winger Zaha is set to return to first team football under new Cardiff manager, and Manchester United legend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Zaha, regarded as a huge prospect by Sir Alex Ferguson, was the manager's last signing, after the youngster fired Crystal Palace into the Premier League. However, despite an outstanding pre-season and consistently poor performances from established wingers, Ashley Young, and Antonio Valencia, he has been ignored by David Moyes, leading to wild speculation across social media as to the manager's reasoning.

It was reported recently that tensions were further aggravated between Moyes and Zaha when the player was told he could not leave until United's injury crisis eased, but the swift return from injury of Ashley Young and the imminent signing of Juan Mata has freed up the dynamic wide man for a move to Cardiff. The move will be completed within 48 hours, but the player will not be available for the Bluebirds' next game, which is against Manchester United themselves.
